| Synopsis: This video is a true story detailing the logistics of Operation Moolah and the
defection of Senior Lt. No Kum-Sok. On September 21, 1953, Lt. No flew his MiG-15 fighter
undetected and unopposed by forces from either side and successfully landed at Kimpo Air
Base in South Korea.
The MiG-15 and the intelligence brought by the pilot provided critical insight on fighter strength and training standards at the time, as well as the ability to study Russia's newest fighter in depth. |
